La Gaffelière is also the named place, where the Château is located. The estate was bought in 1971 by the family of the Counts von Neipperg. This family owns also: Château La Mondotte, Clos de l’oratoire, Château Peyreau (all three located in Saint-Emilion), and château d’Aiguilhe (located in Côtes-de-Castillon). Quality is the watchword for Château Canon La Gaffelière. The wine, produced on 20 hectares, offers one of the best quality-price ratios of Saint-Emilion. This is a delicious wine at an affordable price. The Château Canon La Gaffelière also produces a second wine, La Côte Mignon La Gaffelière, which is made on the second-quality growth of wine. |
