| Popis nemovitosti | The origins of château Haut-Bailly date from the seventeenth century and from its owner at that time, Firmin Le Bailly, who gave his name to the château. In 1872, Alcide Bellot des Minières, nicknamed "king of the winegrowers”, bought the area and began to develop the awareness of this unique soil. He was particularly known for his scientific input in vineyards. Since 1998, the château Haut-Bailly has belonged to an American banker, Robert G. Wilmers. The wines of the château are known for their finesse, their elegance and their maturity. This “grand cru classé” of Graves in 1953 produces a second wine, called “La Parde Haut-Bailly”. |
